Choosing the right sized evaporative cooler is an important step for keeping your cool. Although there are several factors that influence heat load - which applies to every airconditioner installation, including refrigerated - we are able to provide an approximate guide to how much cooling you'll probably need under normal conditions.

The map and table below, which assume an 8' ceiling height, provides a quick quide to sizing based upon air volume (air changes). The table estimates the Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM) of air movement required for each zone and house size. Canadian residents should generally assume Zone 1. Mexican and other Central American residents should contact us or a local dealer for an estimate. In all cases, your friendly authorized Breezair dealer can confirm sizing and specific model selection. Your Breezair dealer may also calculate sizing based upon the more complex heat load formula if required.
